Warranty 2022
In accordance with EU requirements, Government Decree No 373/2021 (VI. 30.) transposing Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods (´the Decree 373´) entered into force in Hungary on 1 January 2022.
The following are among the main amendments to the legislation:
- regulation of the institution of commercial warranties;
- regulation of consumer rights relating to digital content and services associated with goods;
- determining the time limit for the presumption of defective performance (1 year).
