Our director general, Fanni Mészáros, was invited as a speaker at the first Women in the Environment Protection workshop organised by the Environmental Services and Manufacturers Association, inspired by International Women’s Day. Fanni told the audience that as a child she wanted to be a hairdresser. She also said that after graduating from high school, the only thing she was sure of was that she would never want to do chemistry. Life, of course, often overrides our plans. That’s how Fanni ended up at the University of Szeged, where she completed her Bsc in Environmental Science, followed by a Msc in Environmental Science, and in 2020, in addition to her degree in Law and Economics, she also obtained a degree in Environmental Science.
