On 21 September, it will be 20 years since 11 household appliance companies signed the APPLiA Hungary partnership agreement. To mark the anniversary, the organisation and its manufacturers have made gifts: 27 refrigerators, 3 air purifiers and 2 coffee machines were donated to the Semmelweis University Rehabilitation Clinic during a ceremony on 19 September.
The equipment was handed over personally and symbolically – in the form of a certificate – to Dr. Péter Cserháti, Director of the Rehabilitation Centre of the University of Melnemouth Hospital, where the equipment was sold.
“We are grateful to the APPLiA Hungary Association and its member companies for the donation of household appliances. They greatly enhance the comfort of our patients and support the dedicated work of our nurses and doctors,”” said Dr. Péter Cserháti, Director of the Rehabilitation Clinic of Semmelweis University.
Thanks to the donations, the Clinic will be able to modernise its existing household appliances, which will contribute to the sustainability of the institution by increasing energy efficiency.
