Attila Gerzsei, director of APPLiA Hungary
On May 26, APPLiA Hungary’s first ordinary annual general assembly took place.
At the assembly, Péter Halász, head of adult education of the Society, reported on the details, challenges and future plans of the repairman training in Jászberény and Budapest, as well as the resumption of the work of the sector skills councils (Péter Halász will now be a member of the mechanical SSC in addition to the electronics).
Subsequently, Fanni Mészáros reported on the communication activities of the first semester:
- Let’s live smarter! – Trend FM interviews,
- In my opinion campaign,
- HAEE career orientation lecture in Szeged and Jászberény,
- HAEE Meeting for Environmental Protection,
- Cycle Michael presentation in Budajenő.
The company manager also gave a summary presentation on the EU legislative directions (SPI, Sustainable Consumption – promoting reuse and repair, CBAM, taxonomy Regulation, WEEE, ecodesign Regulation).
The general assembly unanimously approved the annual report for 2021 and expressed its trust in Attila Gerzsei by voting him for the position of director of APPLiA Hungary for another two years.
