After four years, Fanni Mészáros, Chair of the National Associations Committee of APPLiA Europe, and Director General of APPLiA Hungary, handed over the baton at the APPLiA Europe Annual Meeting in Budapest. Italian colleague Marco Imparato succeeds Fanni in the post. What has been the biggest success of these four years, according to Fanni? Clearly, the fact that the domestic appliance repair manual produced by the national organisation has been exported to other countries. Today, a new generation of installers in many countries is learning from this book. And APPLiA Europe has also created an English-language website based on the book, www.repair-it-right.eu. Fanni, although retiring from the chairpersonship, will continue to be actively involved in the work of the committee.
